Valencia Basket finishes the Euroleague on the court of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade

Valencia Basket men's team closes its participation in its eighth Turkish Airlines EuroLeague visiting the Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade’s court (Friday 12, 8:30 p.m., Stark Arena, Movistar Deportes 4) in a game on the last round of the Regular Season of the maximum continental competition.

 

After maintaining their chances of qualifying for the second phase of the tournament until round 33, the Taronja team faces this game without mathematical options of reaching the play-in but to try to extend the good feelings shown on Sunday in the premiere of Xavi Albert on the bench (he will make his debut as head coach in the Euroleague) and look for a victory that would allow him to equal his balance from last season and even surpass the Serbian team in the standings.

 

To this end, he has sent a squad of twelve players to Belgrade in which, in addition to the known absences of Touré and Pangos, Stefan Jovic and Damien Inglis are sidelined from the game due to small injuries.

 

Alpha Kaba (not registered in the Euroleague) will remain in Valencia while the absences in the point guard position have led the Taronja staff to complete the roster with the young playmaker Sergio De Larrea, who could have his first minutes of the season in European competition.

 

Despite the court's difficulty, the taronja squad has won at Partizan's home in the two previous games.

 

Valencia Basket arrives at this last game of the Regular Season in 13th position with a balance of 14-19.
